Harper was excited, yet again, to participate in the Cheer Clinic at our High School. She went to just two days of practice and then they all performed at halftime of one of the games. The pictures aren't very good...the lighting is so hard to judge, but you can still all of the fun she had that night!

A fall trip to Colorado!
For Fall Break, we loaded up the bus and headed to Colorado! It was a wonderful time of year to be there and we enjoyed the Fall colors everywhere.
We started off our trip at the OSU Cowboys Memorial and it was really neat to see. I had never been there before. Harper was very interested in learning the story about all 10 men.
We spent that evening roaming around Boulder and got a good night's sleep to prepare for the next day. On Friday, we headed to Georgetown to ride the Georgetown Loop Railroad. Owen is still fascinated with trains and we knew this one would be extra fun. Not only was it a real train, but it went across a giant suspension bridge as it climbed the mountain. We were surprised when we got to Georgetown that it was snowing. The kids were pumped. We rode the train up and grabbed some hot chocolate before heading back down the mountain.
That afternoon, our plan was to go up Mt. Evans...a 14,000 ft. mountain that you can drive most of the way up...hike the rest. But unfortunately it was closed for the season. So we went as far as we could and then got out to hike. We hiked around a beautiful lake, but the kids' favorite part was playing in the snow!!!
On Saturday, we headed into Denver for the "city" part of our vacation. Of course, we hit up the American Girl store and the "girls" got some new 'dos. From there we went to the Denver Zoo. It was really fun to go to a different zoo then we are used to. It was a lot of fun and neat to see some different things. Overall, it was a very relaxing and exciting Fall Break Trip!

The Rumble
Owen had a very successful first outdoor season of soccer! Richard coached his team and we went with the name, Rumble...after our beloved Thunder mascot. We had several of the boys from the Avengers T-ball team and several of Owen's really good friends. It was a really fun season and the weather was nice for almost all of the games. Owen was very excited for each game and practice and did really well in the games. He helped his teammates when they needed him, but for the most part ran just far enough away from the ball that he wouldn't have to get in the mix to kick it. He did end up scoring one goal...which helped lead his team to first place in their division! Go Rumble!

Fun Pictures
This post is a collection of fun (and some funny) pictures that I have on my phone. I love these random pictures and had to share/record them!
The kids were having "tutu" much fun after school one day!
A successful, yummy trip to POPS {our favorite} one Saturday evening! Can't beat it!
Richard snagged some old football helmets from his school for Owen and his friends! This picture will be priceless when they are in high school!
Having some good "orange" fun at the first OSU football game of the season!
Our yard got "flocked" one Saturday morning...for a good cause of course! The kids loved it!!!
Owen's two favorite teams...the Thunder and the Pokes!!! This kid loves sports!
The kids posing in front of our new BUS!!! My friend Sara inspired me to move up to a full fledged...what I loving refer to...school bus! It holds all of our junk...and our kids too!
The sweetest baby you ever did see! Love him so much!
Class projects: Nancy Clancy book report pumpkin; Awesome-ly colored Army Guy and the most embarrassing piece of student work posted at Open House. You read that right...our son told his teacher that his favorite thing about fall was his dad's guns! And Richard hasn't hunted since before Owen was born! Oh boy!
First pic: Posing at the Czech Festival in October; Second Pic: Drinking some Hot Chocolate in the "snow"...or sleet...whatever!
