Thunder Up

Back in March, Harper's Basketball Team was invited to be the Little League Team of the night at the OKC Thunder Game.  Those girls were so excited, but secretly us parents might have been more excited than them!  They all got matching shirts and headed down the floor at the beginning of the game.  They got to stand in front of the players during the National Anthem...then they stood on the baseline while they warmed up.  Many of the players gave them high fives before the game and the girls were grinning from ear to ear!  Once the game started, they headed to the stands (way up high) to watch the rest of the game.  After it was over, Harper kept talking about how TALL all of the players were and how nice they were.  Great experience!!!  Go Thunder!

Magic Kingdom, Again--Day #6

It just wouldn't seem right if we didn't spend the entire last day of our trip at THE most magical place on Earth...Magic Kingdom!  Although it was sad times since it was our last day, we had an absolutely wonderful time and partied until the wee hours of the morning.  We squeezed every last second out of that place!!!  We had a wonderful, much needed vacation and we can't wait to go back!

Disney's Hollywood Studios--Day #5

By Day #5, we were getting a little tired...but Hollywood Studios provided a nice pick-me-up.  We FINALLY (after 3 visits to Disney World) were able to ride Toy Story Mania.  The wait for this is tremendously long, but I sprinted to the back as soon as the gates opened to get Fast Passes.  Not to mention, we were able to ride it a couple of other time while we waited.  It was totally worth it!

Harper is so brave and this time she was finally tall enough to ride Rock N Roller Coaster.  Her and I went first and it was pretty intense.  She loved it and even went again with Richard!

Playing around on the movie sets!  Tons of fun....actually made me wish I was in NYC again!

Owen's favorite part...the Car Stunt Show.  Complete with Lightning McQueen!

We ended the evening at Mickey's Backyard BBQ.  The food was spectacular and the dancing was a blast.  Owen was a little shy at first, but get a ice cream bars in him and he is the life of the party!

Epcot Adventures--Day #4

On our 4th day, we headed to Epcot.  Every time we go back to Disney I discover that I like this park more and more.  It is so cool and there are a ton of different things to do there.  Unfortunately, this time it was pouring down rain when we arrived.  But thanks to being a plan ahead mom, I brought four of those fold up cheap rain ponchos.  We were shielded from the rain and the park wasn't very crowded.  Bonus!
We started out the day riding our very favorite ride, Soarin!  Owen was big enough to ride almost all of the "big kid" rides at Epcot and he was pumped.  Harper even ventured on to Mission Space with Richard and then again with me!
Since we were there around Easter, the had a special event.  An Easter Egg Hunt around the "countries" in the World Showcase part of Epcot.  The kids had to hunt for these big giant eggs, place the coordinating stickers on their maps and they turned them in for a prize at the end.  Harper was so excited to visit all of the countries.  We even stopped to get some candy in Japan...it was actually really yummy!
We had a great, fun-filled day at Epcot and finished it off with the best fireworks show Disney has to offer!
