Well Spring Break has come and gone and we had an absolute blast! However the week provided just a taste of Spring, two days to be exact before the snow came back! but what a glorious two days those were.
We started off the week playing and hanging out with Boppy, Grandma T, and Aunt Mel. Lots of fun...kind of cloudy and yucky...but still fun!
The middle of the week was spent with our "cousins" as Harper calls them. Preston, Cambree, and Westynn (and my best friend, Sara) came to stay with us. We spent St. Patty's night at Incredible Pizza. So much fun! The kids ate, played tons of games, got tons of tickets...which amounted to some really small prizes. But the best part was when we got to the car and Preston said, "That was awesome!" Made the night all worth it!
The next day we packed up the FIVE kids and headed to the Zoo. We knew it was going to be one of the only gorgeous days and so did everyone else...the Zoo was PACKED! But, the new Children's Zoo was open and it is really neat. All of the kids had a great time looking at all of the animals and just being outside! After lunch, our friends had to head on their way and we were sad to see them go. We can't wait for them to visit again soon!
And on Friday...came the snow! My little scientist had to conduct her snow experiment again. She headed outside, while the rest of us stayed warm inside, to gather a huge tub of snow. She played around in it for quite awhile...until her pesky brother started eating it! Yuck!
We really had a FABULOUS Spring Break and had a great time staying at home and relaxing as a family!

From the look on Owen's face on the horse I think Boppy is going to have to buy two horses.
