Two weeks ago on Thursday, we had a great evening with our friends. It was a very special night for Harper and her friend, Gracen. They got to go to the Carrie Underwood concert. And boy were they pumped! They talked about it all week and prepared their outfits...boots of course! Katy even took them to eat a fancy cupcake place before the concert.
All of the boys felt a little left out, so we decided to take them to Storybook Forest. It is an outdoor trick or treat trail by a local lake. Sounds kinda spooky, but it was totally the opposite. As we walked through the forest, each of the candy stops was a different nursery rhyme. Really cool! At one of the first stops, Owen walked up to the girl giving out candy and said, "I like Chocolate!" He is a boy that knows what he wants! :)
While we were there, we got to ride a hayride and while we were on the hayride, we spotted 3 deer in the forest...a bonus.
Everyone had a wonderful, special fall evening!
