Do the Hoedown! Do the Hoedown!

You only know that song if you have ever seen Hanna Montana the Movie. Harper loves that movie...and that song. She was excited when she heard that her kindergarten was going to get to do a Hoedown. The started practicing several weeks in advance and practiced everyday. 11 songs/dances in all. I don't know if I could remember that many.

The night of the hoedown, Harper was so excited to get her groove thing on. She had been singing and square dancing around the house for days, so we knew much of what was to come.

She did so good. Signing along with every dance. She was dancing around and making sure all of her little friends in her group were doing what they were supposed to. Such a mother...I don't know where she gets it from ! :)

Her favorite went a little something like this..."Old Man Tucker was a might man...washed his face in a frying pan...combed his hair with a wagon wheel...had a tooth ache in his heal...get out 'the way Old Man Tucker...get out 'the way Old Man Tucker...you're too late to get your supper." The way she shook her finger at the last part of that song was hilarious. She took square dancing seriously and we had a blast watching her perform!
